There is simply nothing better than the flavorful aroma of coffee brewing right under our noses. In our local culture, we simply love enjoying that great cup of coffee, anytime of the day. That mind-stirring cup makes our day a little perky and stimulating than usual, as we carry out our functions well within the day. We often find ourselves reaching for that cup as we start our day with that first meal," the breakfast." That is the reason for matching coffee with combo breakfast meals in the modern era of the fastfood bandwagon.
I would say that the regular coffee beans (kape barako of Batangas) have evolved through the years. The regular cup of brewed or instant coffee in styropor cups have gradually lost patronage as the dawn of foreign-labelled flavored coffee drinks into our mainstream became the next great thing to hit our community. Everybody has now become thankful for that change. Starbucks has become the signature for a delectable, flavorful coffee experience.
Coffee, which used to be just a favorite beverage of executives in board meetings and brainstorming sessions, has taken its new role of providing generalized socialization among the hippies and the young. That refreshing cup revitalizes our youthful energy for chance meetings and dating.
The coffee shop has now become a "message board" of upcoming major exams as they become invaded by students and examinees alike. This has become a venue where an interwoven network of diligent people come together. This is where dreams and careers are moulded.
