I am deeply inspired by a great teacher, Professor Randy Pausch. He may be dying, but his spirit is alive and strong as he lives another day. He fights his battle very well by living each day with fun and meaning. I may not have met him personally, but he sure did emphasize some points to me by his living example. He rubbed in important points to my head and heart that made the rightful difference in my perspectives as I finished reading his book today (after holding onto the book for a week). My current challenges and struggles in life all became simple, and the lessons became clear. I don't only KNOW, but NOW I have a DEEPER UNderstanding of how I should deal with it--straight in the eye, work harder, and always have that burning passion to go the extra mile of an effort.I'm on the right track.
I did not think that the book that I came through two weeks ago, would have such a strong impact as it touched my life and mended my wounds.Last_lec_pic
Professor, thank you for being such a blessing not only to people that you know--your colleagues, students, family. But to the millions of people who watch your talks on you tube and on the news. Thank you for the legacy that you wanted to leave to your children--that you had to give talks publicly--and share them to people whom you never knew.
